Malibu Beach Sunset with Madtown

Lifestyle photography hovers in between documentary photography and portraiture photography. We LOVE photographing on the west coast especially magical sunsets. Couple that with two amazing models, amazing wardrobe, and an awesome makeup artist you get these kind of results. The movement and drama of the dresses by Madtown made for some great photos.

We had the opportunity to work with Xaolynn recently.  She just moved here from China, and is amazingly talented.  If I had to describe her in one word, it would be ethereal. We had a lot of fun working with her.  She makes everything seem effortless, and is super kind.

Volkswagen Bus in Brooklyn wih Oheni

Lifestyle photograph at it's core, it is the capturing of real life moments, natural expressions, most often candid things that just happen. It's easy and hard at the same time. For this shoot we had: Volkswagen bus, check, Brooklyn, check, and an amazing model, check - thanks Oheni!

We scoped out an awesome spot in Brooklyn and went to town. You can't tell in the photos, but it was FREEZING outside. Oheni is a champ and never even flinched.
