Allison was awesome to work with when we shot at Domes of Casa Grande in Arizona. We hung out together in the high noon desert heat and Alison brought some fierceness to the table.
Speaking of bringing things to the table, Allison is the founder and owner of an amazing tea company called Teaspressa, which is tea that is made like coffee. This stuff is absolutely delicious! I'm always a fan of any form of caffeine intake- and hard working people. Allison has the perfect combo.

Art in Everyday Life with Oheni in NYC
A phrase that we like to use when coming up with ideas for lifestyle photography is " art in everyday life." Meaning you can find the extraordinary in just about any circumstance.
Oheni recently moved to New York City- aspiring to become a model. He is amazing to work with. He brought a ton to the shoot, and you couldn't even tell it was frickin' freezing outside. Oheni made it look like it was a breezy summer day, which is awesome. I dig breezy summer days. :)
You can find Oheni here.
Albuquerque Hot Air Balloon Festival with Lacie and Mike
Every year, Albuquerque hosts a Hot Air Balloon Festival. And it's amazing. We had the opportunity to head out and see the balloons prepare to launch with Lacie and Mike. The colors of the balloons are amazing! The balloons race and there are even trick competitions with height and loops.
Gold, Purple, and Orange Sunset in Santa Monica
Lifestyle photography is the opposite of look at the camera and say "Cheese!" We find locations and settings for our subject to interact in authentic ways and capture the emotion of the moment. It was one of those days of epic sunsets in LA. There was a storm threatening rain, but we all went out anyway- even if it did rain, the light would be super cool so why not. :) We all hung out and took in the crazy colorful light at the Santa Monica beach over by the pier, and it was like having all of the coastline to ourselves.
