Michael Hart's studio space was just down the block from a building of historic significance (to us at least)
Jay Maisel purchased this enormous bank building back in 1966 for just over $100,000. This building is currently in the process of being rehabbed, as Jay sold it for $55 million. Jay is an amazing world renowned photographer- he actually used to store his film in the vault of the bank. You can find out more about the recently sold property at 190 Bowery here.
